I am Ashaya Marie: a wife, a mother, a business owner, and a creator from New Mexico. Most of all, I am a storyteller who loves to paint and draw. I felt the Lord speak to me to write children’s books when I was sixteen, and seeing that calling come to life has been a beautiful journey.
God has truly blessed me, and I would not be where I am today without Him. He took me from a very difficult childhood and adolescence, turning those hardships into a healthy, full, and joyful life. I believe that every season of my life, including moving 18 times before high school, has broadened my perspective and taught me how to connect with others through His love.
My greatest calling is to ensure that through these stories, every child realizes they are never alone.

Why I Write
I write to reach the little hearts who haven’t yet discovered how deeply they are cherished. In a world that often speaks of rules, I want to speak of God’s relentless kindness. My mission is to ensure that no child ever feels like “nothing,” but instead realizes they are a masterpiece created by a loving Father.
The Lord took every shadow of my past and turned it into a life overflowing with joy. Now, my greatest calling is to be a beautiful influence in the lives of others.
